The Big Move

Ben Bunny woke up to the sun in his eyes. He covered his face with the blanket not wanting to get up to his nearly empty room with everything in boxes. He didn’t want to move away from his hometown. His dad got a new job at a far away place so he had to move. He breathed in deep and sat up in his bed just when his mother came into the room.
Page 2: Picture of Ben sitting up in his bed. Boxes everywhere marked with his stuff such as cloths, toys, shoes, ect. His mom just opening the door. Ben is wearing his favorite shirt, and jeans.
Page 3:
There were boxes marked ‘Ben’s Toys’ and ‘Ben’s book’ and also ‘Ben’s cloths’.
“Are you ready, dear?” His mother asked.
“Yes, mom.” He jumped out of bed and got dressed in his old bedroom. After he was done men came in to take the boxes to the moving van as he went to the bathroom. He looked at the mirror and wanted this day to end. He brushed his teeth and put it back in his bathroom box and took it out with him.
Page 4: Picture. Ben in the bathroom. Outside the window across from the mirror is a moving van. Two “rabbits” putting in the couch. His bathroom box on t he counter of the sink. Ben is putting the tooth paste on the tooth brush.

His room was totally empty now besides him standing in the middle of the room. He walked down stairs and his house was empty. No couch, no chairs, no tables and no curtains. Everything was gone. He sighed and went into the kitchen with his little bathroom box. His mom was watching the men and his dad putting stuff in the car. She turned and smiled at Ben.
Page 6: Picture. Ben is standing in the doorway of the kitchen. Door right across from him is opened to the car. It’s stuff full of boxes and small idems from the house. The only “clean” spot his Ben’s car seat.
Page7:
“Everything okay?” She asked. He sighed again.
“Yes, mom. I’ll be ok.” She grabbed his hand and took him outside. The car was packed with small stuff. She took him to the car and he sat in his seat behind dad.
“You stay right here while we put the last few things in the truck.” She closed the door and walked off. He looked around at his old front yard. His old climbing tree and his old front porch.
Page 8: Picture. From inside the car on his right side veiw. Ben is looking out of the window. Small bathroom box on his lap a view of the front yard through the car window.

Soon, his mom and dad got in the car and they drove off. He looked out the window silently saying good-bye to his hometown that he had known ever since he was born. Five years was a long time to him. About three hours later they pulled up to a big house. He looked outside. There was a new front porch, a new climbing tree, and a new front yard. His mom came around and opened the door.
Page 10: Almost same as page 8 execpt it looks a little different. The view is from the rear of the car. His mother opening the door for him. His dad talking to the movers.
Page 11:
He got out still with his bathroom box in his arms. The men pulled up also and got out. Dad walked up to them and was talking. Mom took the box and pointed to a small park.
“Go play over there, dear. By the time lunch comes around we will have your bedroom up and you can go see it.” He nodded feeling a little sad. Even though there was a new front porch, new climbing tree, and a new front yard, it wasn’t his old ones.
Page 12: Mom pointing to the park, box tucked under her arms. A little kitten playing in the sandbox. A few more houses around the small park. A few people doing lawn work (animals mostly cats, dogs, rabbits, turtles,) Ben’s hands in his jean pockets walking towards the park.
Page 13:
He walked over to the park and sat on the swing watching the men go in and out of the new house.
“Hello.” He heard a little voice. He turned and there was a small calico kitten playing in the sandbox. “Are you new?” She asked.
“Yeah.” H e answered. She got up and shook her pink dress. She walked over to him.
“I’m Kalli the Kitten. I am five years old. What is your name and how old are you?”
Page 14: Kalli standing by the swing poll. Ben sitting on the swing looking over at her. Swing isn’t moving. In the back round the movers are still working. Dad taking things out of the car.
Page 15:
“I’m Ben Bunny and I am five too.”
“Would you like to play with me?” Ben nodded and for the next few hours him and his new friend played in the sand box making castles and sand meals.
“Ben, time for lunch!” Mom called for him. He stood up and turned to Kalli.
Page 16: Mom standing at the sidewalk calling for him. He’s sitting in the sandbox with Kalli a full blown castle in front of them. Kalli holding a bucket him holding a shovel.
Page 17:
“That’s my mom. I live over there.” He pointed to his new house. “I’ll see you later Kalli.” He ran towards his mother and they went into the new kitchen. It was big but it was the same table, and same chairs. He ate his lunch with his mom and dad.
Page 18: Picture of Ben entering the kitchen. Lunch of carrot bread and soup on the table. Dad sitting reading over the paper. Mom pouring soup into bowls. Pitcher of lettuce juice on the table along with cups.
Page 19:
“Why don’t you go up and take a look at your room.” His dad said after lunch. “We got everything up for you.” He nodded and slowly went up the stairs. He opened the door to his new room and saw all his old stuff there. His dresser, books, games, and action figures were there.
Page 20: A picture of his room.
Page 21:
He went into the bathroom and there was his new mirror bigger then his old one. He went back in his room and laid on the bed. Maybe a new home, new town, and new friends weren’t as bad as he thought there were going to be.
Page 22: Slash picture. First slash he is looking in his bathroom and picture of his new bathroom/ second slash he is laying on the bed view is looking down on him. His hands behind his head he’s smiling to himself.
